JAU, Junagadh has received Design Patent from the Patent Office, Govt. of India for "Open Core Throat Less Downdraft Biomass Gasifier".

Students training programme on Life Skills and Personality Development successfully completed at JAU.

Three days' Training Programme on “Life Skills & Personality Development” conducted during March 16-18, 2015 for the P.G. Students of Dept. of Biotechnology.

In this training programme 54 Post graduate students of Department of Biotechnology, participated. During the training programme student learned various aspects of Life skills for Personality Development which will be useful for the holistic development of personality of the participants.

The valedictory function was Chaired by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr A.R. Pathak and. Dr. A. Y. Desai, Director of Research as Chief guest in the presence Dr. P.V. Patel Director, Students' Welafre, Dr. B.A. Golakia, Professor & Head, Dept. of Biotechnology and Ms. Adhila Hassan, Student Support, Azim Premji University Bangalore. During the valedictory function Ms. Adhila Hassan, Resource Person, was felicited by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr A.R. Pathak by giving memento and shawl similarly the participants also presented the memento to the trainer. The participants were awarded the certificates along with group photo by the distinguished dignitaries.
