JOB OPPORTUNITIES
The Student Counselling and Placement Cell (SCPC) of CoA, JAU, Junagadh, has been functioning since the establishment of the university in May 2004. The unit has a full-time convener, member secretary, and members of class II officers and above drawn from various disciplines to provide consensus and concrete guidance, ensuring the smooth flow of placement activities. The mission of SCPC is to equip and empower UG and PG students to acquire the requisite knowledge, skill sets, and professional training for advancing their career opportunities towards achieving 100 per cent placement of the interested students. Besides, the unit also liaises with several private and public sector units from time to time for the benefit of students.
The UG and PG students of CoA, JAU, Junagadh, are readily absorbed by the agro-input companies, private banks, rural development organizations, agro-consultancy firms, government bodies, private educational and research institutions and start-ups through both on- and off-campus placements.
STUDENTS FEEDBACK
In general, the student's feedback happens to be sound, energetic, and endearing to say the least. Both UG and PG students express satisfaction over the state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities available at the college and department levels. The unique opportunities available at the college for all-round development of the wards through emphasis on sports, cultural, and other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are also well-received by the students. The on-time conduct of examinations, submission of thesis and declaration of results are applauded by the students along with the quality and depth of teaching and research work. The regular conduct of several placement drives with the participation of a variety of companies and other prominent recruiters are also appreciated by the students. The students also express their complete satisfaction for the organization of guest lectures and counselling for higher studies and off-campus job avenues.
