Objectives:

1. Conducting “On Farm Testing” for identifying technologies in terms of location specific sustainable land use systems.
2. Organize training to update the extension personnel with emerging advances in agricultural research on regular basis
3. Organize short and long – term vocational training courses in agriculture and allied vocations for the farmers and rural youths with emphasis on “learning by doing” for higher production on farms and generating self employment.
4. Organize frontline demonstrations on various crops to generate production data and feedback information.
Mandates:

જૂનાગઢ કૃષિ યુનિવર્સિટીનો વીસમો વાર્ષિક પદવીદાન સમારંભ તા. ૨૦.૦૧.ર૦૨૫ના રોજ સવારે ૧૧:૦૦ કલાકે સરદાર પટેલ સભાગૃહ, જૂનાગઢ ખાતે યોજાયો.
૩૮માં અખિલ ભારતીય આંતર યુનિવર્સિટી યુથ ફેસ્ટીવલમાં જૂનાગઢ કૃષિ યુનિવર્સિટી, જૂનાગઢની લોક નૃત્યની ટીમએ રાષ્ટ્રીય કક્ષાએ ચતુર્થ સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કરેલ.
JAU has been rated 5-Star by the Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF).
Dr. B. N. Kalsariya, Dept. AEE, CoA, JAU, Junagadh has been facilitated with “Best Extension Scientist Award” during the National Seminar on “Agricultural Extension for Viksit Bharat: Innovations and Strategies for Sustainable Development” at NAU, Navsari
The India Today Rankings-2024 recently announced. Junagadh Agricultural University, the only Government University from Gujarat ranked 31st at National level.
College of Agril. Engineering and Technology, JAU, Junagadh improved its ranking at National Level, In National Ranking of CSR-GHRDC Engineering Colleges Survey-2024.
JAU has been awarded 7th rank among all the State Agricultural Universities of India and 2nd rank in State by Educationworld, India Higher Education Ranking 2023-24.
College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, JAU, Junagadh improved its ranking at National Level. In National Ranking of CSR-GHRDC Engineering Colleges Survey 2022.
