Junagadh Agricultural University has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA) to promote joint research, innovation, and knowledge exchange.

   The collaboration aims to strengthen industry as well as academia linkages with a focus on:

• Development of sustainable and eco-friendly technologies
• Research in composites and biocomposites
• Capacity building through training and knowledge sharing
• Advancement of innovation for agriculture and allied sectors

   The MoU was signed by Dr. A. G. Pansuriya, Director of Research and Dean of Postgraduate Studies, JAU, and Dr. Kameswara Rao, Assistant Director, ATIRA, under the esteemed presidency of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of JAU. On this occasion, Dr. V. D. Tarapada, Assistant Director of Research, Dr. H. D. Rank, Principal and Dean, CAET, Dr. M. S. Dulawat Head REE, and Research Enginner, AICRP on PEASEM, along with other faculty and staff members of JAU, were also remain present. From ATIRA, Dr. Ankush Sharma, Senior Scientific Officer were present along with his team.

   This MoU represents a significant step towards fostering collaborative research and contributing to sustainable development initiatives. This partnership will also provide significant support to ongoing research initiatives and product development under the AICRP on PEASEM scheme of ICAR.
