Independence Day of India would be celebrated by the Junagadh Agricultural University on 15th of August 2017 to pay tribute and remember all the freedom fighters who had contributed a lot and fought for the Independence of India..  With the inspiration of Dr. A.R. Pathak, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor for celebrating  71st Independence Day in a befitting manner an action plan was decided in the meeting Chaired by Dr. P. V. Patel, Director, Students' Welfare on July, 26th, 2017. It was decided that, tricolor National flag shall be unfurled by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor followed by  patriotic songs will be presented by the Students and Staff of the University and all the safai kamdar will be felicitated for their dedicated services.
