On the eve of International Women's Day a special interactive programme was organized on March, 7th, 2017 in the conference hall of College of Agriculture, Junagadh. In this programme issues related to  freedom of woman, her status in the society and  Woman empowerment, were discussed. This programme was coordinated and arranged by Dr. P.V. Patel, Director, Students' Welfare. This programme was attended by Smt. Rekhaba Sarvaiya, Smt. Rekhaben P. Patel, Smt. Rajeshriben N. Gontia and number of woman faculties, girl students and invitees.
