Junagadh Agricultural University arranged a special lecture on "History of Junagadh and Situation of Agriculture" by renowned Historian Dr. Pradhyuman Khachar, Professor and Head, Department of History, Subhash Mahila College, Junagadh on April, 21st,2018 at 1600 hrs in the Auditorium. This programme was presided over by Dr. A.R. Pathak, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, in the presence of Dr. Pradhyuman Khachar, Dr. V.P. Chovatiya, Director of Research, Dr. P.V. Patel, Director, Students' Welfare, Smt. Kailashben Pathak, President, Junagadh Krushi Mahila Mandal, Shri Dhirubhai Purohit, Press Reporter, Sandesh, Shri Arjunbhai Dangar, Editor, Divya Bhaskar.
Dr. A.R. Pathak, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor in his presidential address congratulated to Dr. P.V. Patel, Director, Students' Welfare for arranging very unique and informative special talk for the benefit of staff and the students. He appeal to the student youth to learn from the history.
This programme was attended by about 550 people including Dr. M.M. Modhvadia, Hon'ble Member, Board of Management, Junagadh Agricultural University, Principal & Deans of different Colleges, Head of the Departments, faculty members, invitees and large number of students.
