A special Veterinary Clinical Camp was organized by College of Veterinary Science & A. H., J.A.U., Junagadh in collaboration with Shree Bhanvad Mahajan Panjarapol Gaushala, Bhanvad on 19th December, 2019 at Bhanvad.
A special Veterinary Clinical Camp was organized by College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh in collaboration with Shree Bhanvad Mahajan Panjarapol Gaushala, Bhanvad and Animal Husbandry Department, District Panchayat, Devbhumi Dwarka on 19th December, 2019 at Bhanvad Dist Devbhumi Dwarka. Dr. Shivaji Talekar, Dr. K. H. Parmar, Dr. B. J. Thakre, Dr. A. K. Bilval, Dr. N. R. Padaliya and Dr. Amrita Vasava along with under graduate and postgraduate students from clinical departments were actively involved in the clinical camp. Sizable number of animals from Bhanvad and surrounding villages were brought for the treatment in the camp. During the camp, fifty (50) animals were treated for different medical, surgical and gynecological ailments. In the camp different clinical cases were treated such as twenty five (25) Medicines, fifteen (15) Gynaecology, ten (10) Surgery and various samples like serum (3), faecal (8) and blood for haemoprotozoan (5) was analyzed to confirm the diagnosis of various ailments. Additionally, thirty three thousand eight hundred fifty (33850) animals were dewormed with anthelmintic. Different species of animals of Bhanvad and surrounding villages got specialized treatment from the expert staff members of the College. A one hundred eighty eight (188) livestock owners were direct beneficiaries of the clinical camp.
