The department of Farm Machinery and Power Engg., CAET, JAU under the flagship programme of NAHEP-IDP has organized Drone Training with DGCA Certification from September 04-09, 2023.
Under the guidance of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon. VC, JAU, The department of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, JAU under the flagship programme of NAHEP-IDP has organized Drone Training with DGCA Certification from September 04-09, 2023 for 29 UG students of B. Tech. (Agril. Engg.). The inaugural function of the said Vocational Training was organized on September 04, 2023 at Seminar Hall, CAET, JAU, Junagadh. Shri Anil Ranavasiya, (IAS), Collector and District Magistrate, Junagadh graced the function as Chief Guest. Dr. R. B. Madariya, PI (NAHEP-IDP) and Director of Research, JAU, Dr. P. M. Chauhan, Registrar and CO-PI (NAHEP-IDP) and Principal & Dean, CAET, JAU, Dr. D. K. Varu, Principal and Dean, COH, JAU, Dr. C. D. Lakhlani, Principal, PG-IABM, JAU, Dr. N. B. Jadav, DEE, JAU, Dr. B. D. Savaliya, ADR and Nodal Officer (ICAR), Dr. R. M. Solanki, DSW, JAU, Dr. K. C. Patel, DIT, JAU organizing Secretary Dr. T. D. Mehta, Professor and Head, Dept. of FMPE, CAET and Co-organizing Secretaries Prof. A. L. Vadher, Asst. Prof., Dept. of FMPE, CAET and Prof. D. B. Chavda, Asst. Prof., Dept. of FMPE, CAET along with HoD’s of different departments, Faculty Members and students remains present in the said inaugural function. These students will get DGCA approved Drone Pilot License after completion of the said training.
