The Department of Plant Pathology, College of Agriculture, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh has launched consortia of liquid bio-fertilizer named ‘Gir Sawaj Bio NPK Culture’ in the august presence of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh along with Dr. A. G. Pansuriya, Director of Research and Dean P. G. Studies, JAU, Junagadh, Dr. V. D. Tarapara, Associate Director of Research, JAU, Junagadh together with Dr. K. K. Kanzaria, Professor and Head (I/C) and Dr. S. V. Lathiya, Assistant Research Scientist, Department of Plant Pathology, JAU, Junagadh. The product is specially formulated for the farming community which helps in fixation of atmospheric nitrogen, solubilizing complex form of phosphorus and also play a crucial role in mobilizing potash in the soil to enhance crop production.
