A special Veterinary Clinical Camp was organized in connection with the celebration of “Krushi Vikas Varsh 2014-15”, by College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh in collaboration with Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Policlinic, Amreli on 4th November, 2014 at Ghoba (Ta.: Savarkundla). Dr. P. H. Tank, Principal & Dean, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh was present on the occasion and graced the function. Six staff members, Dr. J. S. Patel, Dr. P.B. Patel, Dr. S. H. Talekar, Dr. K.B. Vala, Dr. Amit Prasad and Dr. G. B. Solanki along with thirty one graduate and postgraduate students from clinical departments were actively involved in the clinical camp. Animals from Ghoba and surrounding villages were brought in the camp. During the camp, eighty seven (87) horses and four hundred twenty five (425) large animals were treated for different medical, surgical and gynaecological ailments. In the camp different clinical cases were treated such as ninety (90) Medicine, three (03) Surgery,  thirty (30) Gynaecology, three hundred twenty five (325) vaccination and sixty four (64) deworming. A total of one hundred sixtyanimal owners (160) were direct beneficiaries of the camp. Different species of animals of Ghoba (Ta.: Savarkundla) and surrounding villages got specialized treatment from the expert staff members of the College.
