The AICRP on Plastic Engineering in Agriculture Structure and Environment Management (PEASEM), Department of REE, CAET, JAU Junagadh Centre has been awarded the Best Centre Award 2024 during the XX Annual Workshop of AICRP on PEASEM, held at SKUAST-K, Srinagar, from October 14-16, 2024. This recognition was given among 14 centres for the overall achievements of the centre in the application of plastic engineering in agriculture.

     The award was presented to Dr. G. V. Prajapati, Principal Investigator of AICRP on PEASEM Junagadh Centre during the Annual Workshop by Dr. K. Narsaiah, ADG (Agril Engg) and Dr. Rakesh Sharda, Project Coordinator, AICRP on PEASEM Scheme. The Junagadh centre received this remarkable achievement under the guidance of Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor; Dr. R. B. Madariya, Director of Research; and Dr. N. B. Jadav, Director of Extension Education. Dr. H. D. Rank, Principal and Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, JAU, Junagadh, along with Dr. M. S. Dulawat, Professor and Head of the Department of REE, CAET, JAU, Junagadh, congratulated the Scientists of the AICRP on PEASEM Centre, Dr. G. V. Prajapati and Dr. S. P. Cholera and their team for this significant achievement.
